New Scarf

When I start something I really can't stop! Just made my Mum a spider web bobble scarf in her favourite colour. This took two 50g balls of Papillion wool measures around 120cm in length. Only 8 stitches plain knit & an hour to make xxx

Knitting needles out

Ok so I got bored with watercolours not picked them up since day 2, I know when I'm not good at something & give up easily. But no crafting is turning my brain to mush! So this evening iv sat down & knitted a 1x1 Rib Scarf using Jumbo Chennile wool. It knitted up really fast took about an hour to make it 130cm scarf & it's real warm :) 

Water Colouring Day 2

Ok so I finally opened the water colour pencils & had a go. Being able to paint is something Iv always wanted to try but never got round to it. The 1st image i coloured was Pollyanna Pickering's Tiger Cub, I used watercolour pencils direct onto Crafters Companion Water colour card & didn't add water. Here is the result. 

I then coloured one of Sheena Douglas stamps in again on Crafters Companion Watercolour card but this time added water, I wasn't impressed with my colouring ability & added some paint splatters which I actually quite like.

Today Iv just sat down & tried something different to my 1st 2nd & added water to the card & then painted the 1st image again, it's still wet but I actually prefer it to the 1st Tiger Cub I coloured.

Pretty chuffed I actually tried painting, Idon't  think painting is for me but at least I can say I have now tried it xxx

Monday morning......

Today my Hubby is going to help his mate rebuild his racing car engine. It's the 1st day I'm going to be left alone in the house with no craft room! Usually he goes out & I lock myself away crafting so today is going to be soooooooooooo boring with my stuff packed away! I reckon it's going to be back to watching how to colour DVDs & have a play with watercolours. Such a shame Iv had them so long & never opened them so looks like today could be the day they finally get used :) 

Happy 9th Birthday Crafters Companion

Hi all, I didnt expect to pop in again so early but Iv seen my last project being shown & can now share it with you.
Crafters Companion 9th Birthday was a great way to also say  "Thank you" for getting me back into card making. So I designed a clock, & best thing is its really easy to make & I did a tutorial for you to follow so you can all make it using Crafters Companion new Big Board.

Happy Halloween Scruffy Little Cat Halloween Hat

This was the 3rd Card I made for the same assignment & I really let myself go with it, I love the fun side of Halloween & these 2 stamps were perfect to play with.
I was un-decided if to go for a huge Cauldron card or the Hat card & obviously you see I went for the Witches Hat.

Howdy Scruffy Little Cat Card

This was the 2nd Sample card I made for the same assignment as the Shoe card.
I tried something new which I enjoyed the final result butting getting there was messy!
I drew the shape I wanted & covered it with small pieces of masking tape & then inked over it, the embossing powder & Frantage then was added to the whole hat before I started to decorate it.
Fun card to make but can't see myself making many more messy projects unless I get gloves ;) xxx

Nearing the end.....

I still have a few cards to share with you before my journey ends with Crafters Companion, but I won't be able to share them today as they were for future shows & I don't want to spoil the goodies they have in store for you. 

I'm moving house in a few weeks & after my Drs appointment today I will finally be boxing up the rest of my craft rooms & maybe one day I will feel inspired enough to unpack them & pick up a craft knife & score board again. 

A few weeks back I purchased various watercolour goodies & a DVD I know I can draw but Iv never been able to colour in the images very good so I may dig out my painting stash (If I can remember were I put it!) xxx

This was to be my last inspirational card I would make for the Challenge team, such a fabulous team. Seems weird when I think back as Iv never entered a challenge before so to make cards to inspire people to enter a challenge was a good feeling :)
